School Information

Operational Notes

 During the school year we meet at the Hilltop School.  During the summer months we meet at the Flanagan Center, as the Hilltop school is closed.

During the school year, our school will be closed during school vacations and holidays.If it snows and school is cancelled we will also be closed.

Class may be cancelled due to severe weather conditions.   

We strive to maintain close contact with the students in order to build a good relationship with the students and to promote maximum student participation in class.  It is the student’s responsibility to inform either the Sensei or the Sempai if you are not going to be in class for more than one week.

We make every effort to keep the students aware of special events at the school (Open House, PTA meetings, etc) that would prevent us from having our regularly scheduled classes.  Sometimes, however, there have been last minute cancellations due to conflicting events at the school that have been scheduled by the city.  If you miss a week of class, you should call and make sure that the next weeks class is still scheduled.

Please call Sensei or Sempai if you’re not sure if we are open or not.  ( Due to the size of our school it is easier for you to call us than for us to call all of you)

The cost of our program is $20 per month.  This will be collected during the first week of classes for the month.  It is the student’s responsibility to bring their payments to the senior student. 

Rank promotion testing will be held on the first Wednesday of every month.  It is the student’s responsibility to insure that all requirements for the rank they are testing for have been met.
